Participants must have mastered how to sew straight lines and completed some beginner projects. In this class, you will learn how to work with commercial patterns. Topics include but are not limited to: - How to take proper custom measurements - Choosing the right commercial pattern - How to properly read patterns - How to transfer patterns and adjust to fit and style Project: - Beginner friendly dress or pants. Project pattern will be selected in the first class Participants are allowed to make design adjustments Fee covers cost of training, use of our sewing machines in the class, tools needed for the class AND the pattern needed for the class. Fabrics are NOT included. You may choose to, but do not need to bring your personal sewing kit for this course. We will supply you with all the tools needed. Same goes for sewing machine. Policy on Absence: Please note that there is no refund for missed classes. This is only a 3-week class. If there is another group taking the same lesson on a different day, and there is room to join the class, we will offer it to you for make-up. Kindly note that each group class is designed for 3 - 5 participants. Classes are subject to be cancelled or start date rescheduled due to low registration. If cancelled, you will get your refund via the means with which you paid. If rescheduled, you will be offered a full refund if the new schedule does not work for you. Thank you!
