Alteration and Mending Workshop
Learn how to fix or alter your clothes rather than throw them out. Great way to minimize waste!

Service Description
Part of practicing sustainable fashion is to minimize how much waste we produce through fashion. Did you lose some weight? Learn how to do simple alterations to help you fit your clothes to your new size. That hem that came loose can be stitched, rips can be fixed, buttons can be sewn back on, and zippers can be changed. Not only will you minimize waste, which is great for our earth, but you will also be saving money. Tons of money! For this workshop, you can come with clothes that need to be fixed and we'll guide you on how to fix them. You are welcome to use our sewing machine, or come with yours if you'd prefer that. You will also need your personal sewing kit. Come with yours or shop from us. Some sewing experience is required.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: Payment validates booking. Your spot is reserved immediately after payment is made. No refunds are offered for sewing classes/camps/workshops. Cancellation received at least two weeks before class gives us the time to transfer your fees to another time slot. Cancellations received less than two weeks before class starts, (or no-shows) may result in forfeiture of fees paid if there are no available spaces for makeup classes. If for reasons beyond our control, we need to cancel a class, we will issue a refund in the manner in which you paid or you can transfer your payment to a future session of your choice. Classes are subject to change or cancellation based on low attendance.
